Tad Wakamatsu ‘Ipy Girl Ipy’
Japanese photographer Tad Wakamatsu's photo book "Ipy Girl Ipy". Tad Wakamatsu, who moved to the United States in the 1960s and learned photography as an apprentice of Richard Avedon, and later also assisted Hiro Wakabayashi and Bert Stern. He is one of the leading artists in the Japanese photography world in the latter half of the 20th century with his skills refined under the prestigious fashion photographer in America. This book is a masterpiece by Tad Wakamatsu, and was shot with his wife Haruko Wanibuchi as a model against the backdrop of hippie culture in the United States.
